This is an iron space frame (steel lattice) for communications services for most of Mosul city in northern Iraq. It has been established in 1984 during Iraq-Iran war to support antennas (aerials) for telecommunication and broadcasting, including television. It is considered as a landmark as well for it can be seen from most of the city.
Dimentions : About 100 m high, with a square base of 25 m length for each side. The tower is next to the department of communication approximately of 300 m.
