The Balloon. The Balloon is a simple 1 or 2 person escape. It contains only a small bed, desk, and book shelves. The Body of the stucture is suported by four 4x4 posts. The floor supports the exterior skin which would be consturcted of relativly thin wood members wraped to make the 'balloon' shape and attaced at the top of the posts. The wood members would have gaps of 2-4 inches between them and these would be filled with plastic or sceen material stapled to the members. A single light hung between the posts would be used to light it. At night, from outside, this would give the appearence of an internal glow.
