This is a loft bed I designed based on a design at JYSK. The design it is based on holds a twin sized bed, while my design holds a queen sized mattress. Obviously, this bed is designed for a teenager, or the spoiled child. Or the less likely adult. The original bed at JYSK, for anyone who wants to know, is called "NIKA LOFT BED FRAME/WORKSTATION". Feel free to comment/rate this model.
Just to note, the weird little vent like thing, the loft bed was designed with my bedroom in mind, & so the vent thing goes on top of my vent. Feel free to ignore it, delete it, or move (& redesign) for your needs. The vent thing is designed to bring the air directly from a vent, in this case mine which it is designed for, & direct it into a single hole, which would distribute the air throughout the entire area beneath the loft bed, & depending upon the mattress, above as well.
One more thing to note is about the area under the stairs. As I said previously, I designed this loft bed for my bedroom. My bedroom is very small, & so that means that to put something this large into it, I would have to try my best to minimize it's footprint on my floor, while making all space that can be reasonably usable, usable. The end result is a design that should more than fully support the queen sized top, & maximize storage space. The area under the stairs, which would normally be useless in a design such as this, save for drawers that are usually in the stairs, is completely usable.
