The MLB970BW (backless wood) Bench ends are made from solid cast aluminum. The seat employs 5.5" x 1" (actual) Ipe slats. The Maglin Powdercoat System provides a durable finish on all metal surfaces. Wood slats are finished with penetrating sealers.
