This is one of a series of 1960s buildings which formed part of a major campus expansion. A single-storey extension was added to the northern face in the mid-1990s. The four-storey building is built into a hillside, with the principal (south) entrance on level 2 and the northern entrances on level 1. The external facing is grey mosaic tiles and metal-framed windows over the top three floors, set on a red brick plinth at level 1. The building contains academic offices, lecture halls and laboratories and is currently (2010) home to the Schools of Geography and Psychology.
