Grade 2 Listed Building. Public house in a beautiful setting in the village of Uley. On the route of the 'Cotswold Way' National Trail. Formerly a coaching house dating back to the Mid 18th C. White painted rubble limestone walls. Pebbledash to the buttressed gable. Elevated terrace at rear with new Cotswold stone retaining walls. Long block in three sections but with continuous facade to The Green. Deep wing at back linking to 19th C parallel range. Also an attic level link corridor between the front and back ranges. Multiple roof planes throughout to direct rainwater to the perimeter gutters and downpipes. Painted plain stone lintels over windows. Property includes single-storey combined garage and throughway adjacent to the Inn. Gabled dormer to attic window. Some rooflights on the rear facing roof slopes. Five brick chimney stacks comprising one live stack and one truncated stack on the front range; two on the parallel range; and one with a Victorian 'crown' chimney pot on the link block. 18th C stone barn at rear of site.
