This is a model of the fountain at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. When it was built in 1974, the fountain was the tallest water jet in the world at 150 feet. It has since been modified to spay 9 smaller jets. Great Adventure's fountain has been modified several times. It started out as a large circle with low stucco walls and 1 jet. It was soon renovated and the stucco was replaced with stone. In 1986 the fountain received a railing to prevent people from swimming in it. In 1993, the circular wall was replaced with an octagonal brick wall with an iron railing as shown in the model. The fountain is dyed red every year during Fright Fest.
