Sint-Katharinakerk (St. Catherine’s Church) is a late Gothic Catholic church in the Flemish city of Hoogstraten in Belgium. Construction began in 1524 and the church was completed 22 years later in 1546. The height of the tower is 105m, rising significantly higher than the other buildings in Hoogstraten. On October 23, 1944 the church was dynamited by the Germans to prevent the high tower from being used for monitoring troop movements. The church was rebuilt starting in 1950 and finished only 6 years later.
