Residence. 19th C, stone-built, hay barn and 18th C cow shed amalgamated and converted into a house in the 1980's. Marlstone walls with arched brick lintels. Oak timber framed parallel-range extension - with large areas of glazing - added in 2006 adjacent to the recessed main entrance doors. Pantiled roofs. Some rooflights, two of which illuminate the entrance vestibule. The house is split-level - the former cow shed wing is single storey with a non-habitable loft space illuminated by a window at the gable end. The barn section is single-storey with habitable attic rooms. The original double-doorway opening for the hay cart now has a large window with a raised sill.
