Built in brick and with copper domes, the St. Lawrence's Church in Antwerp dates from 1932-1941 and was designed by architect J. Huyghe in art deco style with neo-Byzantine influences . The St. Lawrence Parish was founded in 1659. The present church is the fourth church on this site. In 1988 the church was protected as a monument.
