Designed by George C. Nimmons, the Central Office Building has stood overlooking the Chicago River since it's 1914 construction. Due to the buildings usage being largely commercial, the docks on the Chicago river were built and arranged to allow for constant loading and unloading of goods. In 1976 the Central Office Building (also known as the Reid Murdoch Center) was designated a Chicago landmark and has also been added to the National Register of Historic Places. Model created by Nathan Kohrmann.
