This brick lighthouse is located in the southwestern region of the city of Santa Cruz in northern California. Plaques by the door read: "The Mark Abbott memorial lighthouse is dedicated to all youth whose ideals are the beacons to the future" and "Donated to the city of Santa Cruz for preservation of life. February 1985. Santa Cruz Longboard Union"
