This tower,a donjon with a unique ground plan in the form of a Greek cross was probably built around 1350. The tower count six deepenings, mutually linked by a winding staircase. The tower has been built in brick on white-stone basis, which stands directly in water. In 1619 the tower came in the hands of the family d'Eynatten which the original flat tower provided with a fine roof with a slim pear spire. The house from 1631 has two deepenings and a saddle roof. Above the door with roman arch one sees a weapon stone of the family d'Eynatten-Borghrave. From 1900 up to 1939 there was a beer brewery established here. The chimney remained a silent witness of this economic activity. The tower which is protected as a monument since 3 July 1942 got a thorough restoration in 1948. The tower have been opened for the public for a while, but is now no longer accessible.
