The historic Routt County Courthouse was built in 1922. The original county seat of Routt County was in Hahn's Peak VIllage, but was later moved to Steamboat Springs. This fine old stone and brick structure represents the best of early 20th century public building architecture, and still offices much of the Routt County administrative staff. - Listed in the Routt County Register of Historic Places in 2000.
