"Technická pamiatka. Veterný mlyn v západoslovenskom meste Holíč je jediným zachovaným veterným mlynom na Slovensku. Kamenná trojpodlažná budova mlyna je z osemdesiatych rokov 19. storočia. eho základom bola murovaná budova s kruhovým pôdorysom. Jej pohyblivá strecha s veterným kolesom sa podľa potreby natáčala do smeru vetra. Aj mlyn v Holíči mal do roku 1926 otočnú kužeľovú strechu so vsadeným veterným kolesom. "The wind mill in the west-Slovakia town Holíč is the only preserved wind mill in Slovakia. This impressive stone three-storied building from the 1880s is situated in one of the westernmost towns of Slovakia - Holíč. In the 19th century, the Dutch type of wind mills was constructed. The mill of Holíč is one of them. Its foundation was a brick building with circular ground plan. Its movable roof with wind wheel could be set according to the direction of wind.
