Chemical/Materials Engineering (CME) - The Chemical/Materials Engineering Building is an eight-story brick building built in 1965. Here, as in other Engineering departments, world renowned staff members and some of the best laboratory facilities in Canada contribute to a stimulating learning environment for those interested in the design and control of chemical/mineral processes. As of October 2008, many of the faculty, students and staff of the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering have temporarily relocated to new offices on the 7th floor of the Electrical & Computer Engineering Research Facility (ECERF). This move paves the way for extensive renovations to this building.
