Historic building in downtown McMinnville, TN. The building is owned by Main Street McMinnville (MSM) and contains the Warren County Heritage Center and Lively Museum of Photograhy. The Heritage Alliance of Warren County renovated the ground floor into a museum, thanks in part to a grant from Union Planters Bank, who also donated the building to MSM. Main Street McMinnville received two grants from the Tennessee Department of Commerce and removed the metal "slip-cover" from the building in 2007 revealing the upper facade. in 2008, MSM tuck pointed the brick in the upper facade and installed new wood windows. MSM plans to continue renovating the facade pending the availability of funds. The cornice area still has the slip-cover metal because there is no cornice remaining. Plans are to restore the facade to the orignal upper and possibly the lower facade including replacing the old pressed metal cornice. A proposed version of the building keeping the lower modern facade can be seen in this collection. The building was modeled by M. Gribble and C. McGregor with editing by 3D_DT.
