The Schermerhorn Row is the main building of the South Street Seaport Museum. The row of brick buildings was built in 1810 by Peter Schermerhorn of the Schermerhorn family who owned the majority of the real estate in what we know as the Seaport District today. The buildings were restored by the Museum in 2001, and the street level has a variety of retail stores. Model by Kay Chen and Catherine Moats.
