Two dwellings originally known as 'Yew Tree Villas'. 'Victorian' style pair of semi-detached red brick houses built in 1895. Sash windows. Limestone ashlar mullions, quoins and dressings - in natural stone finish on one house; and painted white on the other house. Slate roofs. Red clayware finials on gables; and half-timbering pattern to apex of each gable. Elaborate multi-colour brick chimneys. Front entrance porches - one glazed and enclosed; and one with its original curved timber bracket supports. Single-storey rear extension added to one house in Early 20th C. Two-storey rear extension and single-storey side extension added to the other house in Late 20th C.
