Grade 2 Listed Building. Elegant townhouse built circa 1850 in the centre of old Dursley. Formerly the school master's house for the adjacent school. Two storeys plus an attic which is illuminated by a central rooflight and two small attic sash windows at each gable end. 20th C rear additions. Blank area of red brick walling at rear indicates that there was originally a taller rear wing. Red brick chimneys with blue brick banding. Coursed rubble limestone front wall. Windows on frontage have 4-pane sashes and are set in ashlar openings with quoins and relieving arches over. The building is an integral part of the townscape forming a visual link between the churchyard on one side and Broadwell on the other.
