The street is laid out on the former property 'Cuylen' which was occupied in 1920 by the owners of the 'De Beukelaer' factories. The house is a freestanding, basemented, "land-house" structure. The building permit was attained in 1940 for the construction of a yellow bricked, flat roofed building with a seperate garage.
