!8-20 Long Street are the premises of the 'Dursley Conservative Club' - a political and social group. No 18 is red brick and three storeys: and No 20 has a stucco facade and three storeys. The different floor levels relate to the slope of Long Street. An open passageway, framed on the Long Street frontage by a Gothic archway, passes right through No 20. To the right of No 18 there is a narrow passage through to the churchyard. This used to be called the 'Golden Heart Entry' name after the inn, 'The Golden Heart' that formerly occupied the site of the 'Conservative Club' buildings.
