This is a model of the barn used by the ranch 'The Kleine Lier'. The construction began in Oktober 1994, and finished in March 1996. The roof has been replaced in 2005, because the old corrugated roof already started deteriorating in it's first year. The construction of the building is very simple; the walls consist of 5 feet of brick, topped with a wooden upperpart painted white. On the sides the wood isns't white but black. On the side facing southeast, there is an entrance for the horses, with corrugated walls painted white and three red pillars on the front.
