This is intended to recall Danish Modern design and was originally designed for use in mid-century modern type homes. It has a ring type bulb above the globe which is intended to give indirect light across the ceiling plane in addition to the direct light from the globe underneath. The globe and backing plates use textures from the Kerkythea rendering program.
