This peninsula from KraftMaid's 2010 Universal Design Kitchen features a high performance cooking/baking area while accommodating consumers with mobility needs. The peninsula provides easy access from all three sides and a knee space for those who prefer to sit while using a cooktop. The Passport base cabinets provide two important benefits, a raised toe kick to accommodate mobility devices and elevated doors and drawers for less bending and easier access. The Passport Series from KraftMaid Cabinetry is designed for people with physical or height limitations and multi-generational households. The series has undergone extensive testing by individuals with varying physical abilities and is one of the only cabinetry lines certified by The Institute for Technology Development, earning the right to bear the “user tested” seal.
