Designer Paul Anater used cabinetry from Kraftmaid to answer the question, "What would an updated kitchen look like in the house that forms the backdrop to Grant Wood's iconic painting, American Gothic. The Avery door style in Kraftmaid's Honey Spice finish makes for a perfect, transitional kitchen in a home with a dramatic, peaked ceiling and a storied history. Sometimes, cabinetry leaves the center stage to the architecture of a home and in this case, Avery does its job admirably. The appliances in this kitchen are from GE Monogram, the counters are DeNova Quartz and the faucet is the Brizo Venuto. Paul's blog can be seen at www.kitchenandresidentialdesign.com.
