The Renault Avantime is a 2 door mpv/coupe/Executive car desinged and produced by matra but sold and badged as a renault from 2002-2004 . The original concept was to offerer a upmarket coupe with the space of a large mpv . But due to it's futuristic qurks it did not work like that and exprienced poor sales as a resault as well as the closly related but more pratical Renault vel satis to compete with . In some markets the sales did not even reach in to 3 didget numbers Update i removed all unessery tags.
