The Leather Lounge Chair is refined, pure and honest. Its side profile is almost graphic, but with a surprising twist, in that the front view shows the armrest on one side extending as a wing from the seat. Minimal thickness in the chosen materials serves to emphasise the line. The armrest and the comfortable seat – thanks to the natural suppleness of leather and agreeable angle of the back support – lend the LL04 the ease of an armchair, though the form evokes more of a chaise longue feel. The seat is constructed of a thin stainless-steel frame with a saddle leather hide stretched over it. The leather hide thus gains a supporting function, and moulds itself to the body of the user over time. The natural saddle leather hide consists of sections cross-stitched together, and is attached to the frame with stainless steel screws.
