This is a short credenza based on a blanket chest designed by Harvey Ellis in 1904 and produced by L&JG Stickley. This version replaces a hinged top with to pairs of doors in the front. The piece is intended to be built with contrasting wood, in this case, I'm using walnut for the darker parts, and some old, salvaged curley maple for the lighter panels. Joinery is mortice & tennon.
