Die katholische Pfarrkirche St. Nikolaus in Wipperfürth ist eine dreischiffige Pfeilerbasilika. Die Kirche wurde wahrscheinlich im Jahre 1143 erbaut. Trotz mehrerer Brände in den Jahren 1333, 1465, 1585 und 1795 gehört der Bau im wesentlichen Umfang noch dem 12. Jahrhundert an. In der Eingangshalle im Erdgeschoss des Westturms steht eine Statue der thronenden Muttergottes um 1400.
