The 459 IPT is a high performance supercharged V8 variant of the Melbourne mid sized car. It has been released in time for the 2013 Sketchup Motor Show, where it will be displayed in the new Touring body style to give it the maximum visual impact and get people interested in both the IPT and Touring. A sedan is also available. The Melbourne 459 IPT combines a a 4.4L supercharged V8 with 459hp(338kW)@6000rpm and 605Nm@2400-4600rpm with a six speed manual or seven speed DCG and rear wheel drive (AWD optional on LHD models) to give a truly sporty and exhilarating experience.The interior is highly spacious, and ISO hopes to convince American buyers that they don't need an SUV. Interior spec on the IPT matches the mid range Dynamic model, the IPT Premium add to standard feature list. This car can be thought of as an affordable alternative to the Mercedes Benz C63 AMG, offering similar performance and a choice of sedan and wagon models. Built in Ontario Canada, Melbourne Australia and Cologne Germany, the ISO Melbourne 459 IPT Touring costs US$41,250, CA$42,190, £31,650, €40,200, AU$62,850.
