Small cottage located on Post Street Godmanchester. Current use is as offices. Possibly gets it name from the Island that is situated behind and it's proximity to Island Hall. National Heritage Description: Date Listed: 28 November 1950, Grade 2, L-shaped C17 or earlier. 2 storeys, timber-framed, partly plastered, partly exposed; tile roof. East front has projecting upper storeys, plastered cove beneath eaves and early C18 doorway with eared architrave, 6 sunk panels. Sash windows below, sliding sashes above, shutters on ground floor. South end has projecting gable with later bay window. Two 2-storey rear wings (Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v1.0.)
