Commercial premises and residences. A tight cluster of buildings near the church. Early and Mid 19th C buildings with 20th C rear additions and extensions. The tallest and earliest building, No. 23, was originally buttressed by a grand archway above the steps that lead up to the church. No. 23 has a stuccoed street frontage; exposed limestone rubble walls at the side and rear; and the stub of a red brick chimney stack. No 25 consists of a residence and a shop. No. 27 is a residence and its arched doorway on to the street frontage gives no hint of the property's unusual triangular plan shape, infilling between its canted neighbouring buildings. Tall and elegant sash windows abound in all three properties.
