The buildings Rosenstraße 8 to 14 lie along one of the Weißenburg's shopping streets and contain shops, flats and the hotel Krone (Rosenstraße 10), which includes several backyard buildings as well. The front building from around 1366 however is remarkable since it has a one of the rare baroque sand stone façades in the town, which sports a decorated doorway. The reformer Philipp Melanchton visited the hotel in 1540.
