Residences. Built Mid 19th C with typical red brick frontage with limestone dressings. Remnants of a longer terrace of houses. The end of No 30 is splayed in plan and relates to the change in direction of frontages that related to the road curvature. Gives appearance of one residence from front elevation with central front doorway. Mixed fenestration with faux sashes that are actually inward opening pivotting casements. 19th C canted bay window on No 28 with cornice. Limestone rubble walls at back and sides. No 30 stuccoed at rear and built from a previously existing woolen industry workshop dating back to the Mid 18th C as evidenced by the arched windows and a chimney stack on the rear elevation. 20th C lean-to extensions at rear on both properties.
