The "Maison des Ailleurs" opened its doors in Charleville-Mézières the 20th october 2004, for the 150th anniversary of the birth of Arthur Rimbaud. It is the poet's house, where he used to live and from where he kept escaping from 1869 to 1875. Located at 7 Quai Rimbaud, this space allows the visitor to follow his own way, according to his desires. In each room, a map shows to the visitors the places where Arthur Rimbaud went during his life.
