Formerly a trio of Early 19th C weavers' cottages - two of small size and one of medium size (at the lower end of the group). All three were on different levels. Later this trio was reduced, in Mid 20th C, to two residences - one small cottage at the higher end plus one large, split-level, residence. One front doorway altered to a casement window over an infill panel. Limestone walls. Brick chimneys. Arched window and door openings. Sash windows replaced with casement windows. Dormer windows in roof added in Early 20th C. Sundry Late 20th C additions and extensions at rear. Steeply sloping site in town. Originally part of a longer terrace. Stone buttress at lower end added in Early 20th C following some demolition.
