Use for flats. This is a case for keeping documents flat. Shown with one of the drawers fully open, showing that the cherry wood color is simply a veneer and the inside is made of an inexpensive plywood-type wood. Typically used for maps because of the large size (shelves can hold a document up to 36x36 inches). Can be used for anything needed to be kept flat and unrolled or unfolded, including maps, documents, old newspapers, photographs, art work, etc. Cabinet is 3' 11" tall, 3' 4" wide, and 3' 2" deep, each drawer is 2" high, 36" wide internally, 36 1/2 externally for internal shelf walls. Cannot be seen from this angle, but handles are held on with Phillips screws. Another version of this model is available with all drawers closed
