I really want to build a paludarium (aquatic-terrarium) for my Royal Crown Betta "George". Unfortunately the picture really doesn't show you what I have going on here. But I started with a replica of the 55 gallon tank I intend to use. It's acturate give or take an 1/8" here and there. Like I said this is the beginning stages and I still haven't decided on materials or filter setup, nothing really. Just trying to decide how I want to build the land portion over about 6" of water. I am brand new to SketchUp (or any 3D modeler for that matter) and am still getting the hang of it. If this gives you an idea, or if you already have something like this going, I would love to see it or take any advice or tips you have on the design/build process. I plan to continue uploading new versions of this as I make breakthroughs or design changes. I hope to blog the bulding process & the final product....when it finally happens.
