this Queen Headboard is designed to be made from used pallets. The 5 1/2" boards that fram the herring bone and form the legs can also be made from Deck boards. All parts were glued using construction adhesive and nailed using 16 Gauge nails and an air nailer.
The herring bone was started in the middle of a plywood sheet on one edge using the smallest triangle that could be cut from one board then each row after used boards from the top of a pallet cut to fit the plywood.
the 2x4 sides were made from the pallet runners, and the top was made from pallet tops as well
I have helped make 4 of these using a miter saw, circular saw, Air nailer, caulk gun and free Pallets
