This is an extra-wide wooden door, each door is an extra 6" wide, the two together are 48" wide (4', 4 foot) instead of the standard 36" (3', 3 foot). The door has handles instead of door knobs to make it handicapped accessible, and the front has a secure keypad/key lock instead of a doorknob or standard key only lock. The full width including frame is 52".
