With six adjustable joints, this lamp is infinitely adjustable to any position desired. The lamp is balanced upon the tripod base, allowing the lamp to rotate forward. A second counter-weighted joint at about 3' height, further extending the reach of the lamp. The lamp can be rotated in the horizontal plane as well, a full 360 degrees. The final, split bamboo lamp shade can be rotated in two planes- it can spot anywhere. Spot the lamp upward for ambiance, downward for specific tasks- it does it all. And, it actually exists in the real world.
