This is a lamp I designed and build in real life. The lamp is made from a single culm section of bamboo. The shade is formed from 64 splits which are then twisted, splayed, and held together by brass wire. The base tripod is formed from 6 splits- 3 thinner splits are slayed, and three wider splits continue vertically. Equipped with a LED or CFL bulb, the lamp is the ultimate in eco-design.
