This deadbolt is configured with exterior and interior keyed cylinders. By turning on/off layers this deadbolt can be configured for the locked or unlocked positions. The "deadbolt - centering text" layer provides guides for adjusting this deadbolt for door thicknesses of 1 3/8", 1 3/4" (default) and 2". This model is designed to share sub-components with other door hardware in my "doors and door hardware" collection. When when models from this collection imported into a model multiple instances of common components shouldn't be created, which should help reduce overall file size of the model. This model is based on deadbolts in my home and diagrams of Schlage deadbolts I found online. Some artistic liberties were taken to simply this model.
