The MG11 "Steamroller" Machine Gun is a fictional, .50 calibre, water-cooled prototype based on the Model 1917 Browning Machine Gun. It features a similar rear sight and the M1917's optional Anti-Aircraft front sight. The water cooling system is an almost steampunk style with water starting out stored in the tank on the side. As rounds are fired, the water traverses a series of pipes into and through the body of the gun, emerging into the pipe on the right side, which directs it to the barrel. As the accumulated heat of the rounds passing by agitate the water molecules, they vaporize and turn into steam, which is collected along the top of the barrel, then sucked along the left pipe, back through the body of the gun, and into the side-mounted tank again. It then cools and condenses back to a liquid state in the tank, ready to be pumped through the process again. This keeps the barrel cool as rounds are fired. It has a tripod for increased accuracy, although this can be removed (a small switch on the lower left side of the gun disengages the grips holding it in place) and the bipod can be folded down and used instead. Also, it can be carried without either of the mounting elements. Please rate and review, as I have put the better parts of three days into this model.
