Fictional development of german tank technology during the Second World War. The Schlachtpanther (battle panther) was developed in mid 1942 and saw extensive action on the Eastern Front against the Red Army as it entered full production just prior to Operation Citadel where it became a desisive tool in the strategical german victory, which halted all Soviet advances along the front and enabled the germans to recover much lost ground. The tank is exceptionally well protected and was decades ahead of it's opposition. Armed with the same weapon as the Panther the Schlachtpanther also had supreme firepower capable of defeating any soviet, or allied, armor at up to 2500m. One of the greatest technological feats of this big cat was the introduction of a crude gyrostabilized gun mount and sight, which enabled the crew to fire with great accuracy while on the move.
