A king size bed frame for use with a foam mattress. The materials used were 4x4 Douglas Fir for legs and 1x8 Dougls Fir for rails. The slats (1x4) spruce-fir are supported by 1x4 spruce-fir screwed to the inside of the rails and 2 spruce-fir 2x4's on joist hangers. The rails are bolted to the 4x4 legs and then hidden with 2x1 fir blocks screwed to the rails and plugged with maple plugs.
