The Order of Honor is the highest decoration awarded by the UFS. It may be awarded to members of the military, civilians, and foreign nationals who "commit an extraordinary act of valor, achievement, or service that benefits the Union of Free States." The award is a single class order. When awarded, the recipient receives a certificate, badge, and ribbon bar. The badge includes all of the colors of the UFS flag, with two stars on two circles. Both the badge and ribbon bar are pinback. As with all decorations of the UFS, the badge and ribbon bar may not be worn at the same time. The badge is worn on dress uniform or formal civilian attire on the right chest, while the ribbon bar is worn on field uniforms on the left chest. Family members of a recipient may wear the badge in honor of their relatives on their left chest. (Civilian attire only, family members may not wear relatives' awards on military uniforms.) When worn with other orders, the order of precedence is up to the recipient, except when worn with orders of other nations or orginizations, in which case UFS orders would have precedence. It roughly equates to the U.S. Medal of Honor.
