*Completely new remapped textures, lower poly, higher detail* This time not an Art Deco building, but A MiMo piece. MiMo means: "Miami Modern deco". this means it was build after the Art Deco period, but it actually was inspired by it. the buildings stands next to the Delano hotel, which is also a nice MiMo building, but this one wasn't already modeled by Google. I now retextured and optimized the model. The wings of the back of the National Hotel extend toward the ocean, while the front borders Collins Avenue. The fenestration provides the interest here (as in Modernist buildings) while decoration is kept to a minimum. The tower, with openings like a church bell tower, has an onion-shaped dome--adding a middle Eastern touch. Decorative escutcheons are at the top of each of the side bays. Roy F. France, 1940
