Peperbus is actually the nick name of this 75 meter high, most caractheristic tower of Zwolle in the Nethelands. It is part of the "Onze Lieve Vrouwe" Roman Catholic Church in the heart of the old town. Two lower parts of the tower were finished in 1477. The third part in 1481. Only in 1727 was the crown built in onion shape. This burned down in 1815. In 1828 the tower crown was restored in its todays shape, which gave the tower the nickname of Peperbus (Pfefferbuckse or Pepperbox)
